About CDTA Open Data
CDTA Open Data is the public front door for discovering, understanding, and accessing CDTA data.
Phase 1 scope
This site catalogs public data wherever its authoritative source is hosted. It provides metadata, documentation, links, downloads, and a way to request information. It does not yet provide data previews, visualizations, queries, or a public catalog API.
Authoritative sources
Each catalog page identifies its source and verification date. External providers remain responsible for the availability and terms of their services. An external link does not mean CDTA copies or republishes the source.
Licensing
CDTA-authored catalog metadata and original portal content are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International, subject to Legal review. Third-party data and linked source systems retain their authoritative terms and are not relicensed by this portal. Check the license section on each item before reuse.

Privacy and analytics
The site uses privacy-minimized, cookieless operational telemetry to understand catalog usage, searches, zero-result searches, outbound access, and request outcomes. Request form values, request IDs, raw IP addresses, and URL query strings are not sent to analytics.
Data requests contain contact information and free text. They are available only to authorized CDTA staff. The retention policy is 24 months after closure; automated retention remains report-only until CDTA authorizes enforcement.

CDTA Open Data targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. To report an accessibility issue or request information in another format, email api@cdta.org.
